Section 3 Inauthentic

Hello,

Amazon deactivated my account on May 28th because section 3 thought I was selling "inauthentic" products. They just specified an ASIN.

In the process, they rejected every single one of my applications. Before you ask, I don't have LOA and I definitely bought from authorized "retailer". After 2 months he asked me to prove that all the products I had sold before were not inauthentic. I bought others the same way and he accepted them all. Finally, the first ASIN that they kept rejecting, they accepted that I was not selling counterfeit and released my inventory.

I say they admitted that I didn't sell counterfeit because the unsuitable inventory policy says that if you can't prove the authenticity of this product we will destroy it, but if you can prove the authenticity of the product we will release the inventory. We clearly understand that Amazon verified my inventory.

The reason they deactivated my account was because they thought I was selling a fake-inauthentic ASIN that they first sent me. But my account is still not activated even though they accept that I am not selling fake-inauthentic.

In addition, all three seller supports I spoke to agreed with me and said that my account should be activated.

I have been dealing with this for 4 months and I am really psychologically and financially broken.

What do you recommend me to do?

If my account is activated, I will definitely not sell any more products without LOA. Definitely don't sell any more products without LOA.

Thank you, have a good day.

There seems to be a couple things happening here. The first is your account deactivation on May 28th for authenticity concerns about something you listed.

The second is with FBA, and the release of your inventory. I am happy to hear FBA did accept your appeal for the inventory.

What I need you to understand is FBA and the Authenticity Teams have different requirements to meet for different results. I am very happy you did get your FBA product back but you may need additional information with greater detail to reinstate your account.

For me to give you advice specific to your situation, could you please provide a Case ID, an ASIN or Performance Notification from the May 28th deactivation.

You may have been asked these questions before, but the answers to these questions may be required to reactivate your account.

  1. Where did you source your products from?
  2. Do you have a process to check for reliable suppliers?
  3. What is your process to maintain invoices for your products?
  4. “Do you have invoices for the ASINs in question? If not, can you say why?
  5. Are you planning to continue selling these ASINs?
  6. Will you be working with the same supplier in the future?
  7. Will you make any changes to your business to ensure you are purchasing authentic inventory?

Please review these help pages and documentation for possible support:

Product Authenticity and Quality help (PDF)

Respond to a Product Quality and Authenticity performance notification

Product Quality and Authenticity Policy compliance

Amazon product authenticity and quality

I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the forums.
