Randomly Losing the Buy Box
Good afternoon. I see numerous folks on here having stress with losing the buy box. We're the manufacturer and sole seller of our products on Amazon and recently had a few of our products lose the buy box. Opened a case (15441884701) but it seemed the answers were canned.
The item we lost the buy box on is a 2-pack of another item we sell as a single. Is there a chance it did not recognize it as a 2-pack even though it has the 2-pack symbol? I understand pricing is key but I'm not aware of any lower price online. There is a slight possibility there was a slightly lower price at the time we lost it but Amazon has been lowest for a few months by now. If pricing is the reason for losing the buy box do they recognize when it is changed?
We have another product where only one of the children have the featured offer suppressed but the rest are fine.

Hello @Seller_ahhPjyebYXGto,
Michelle at Amazon here. Thank you for reaching out. I have reviewed the case you provided and that case is for a brand change request, which was updated incorrectly and is being changed back to the brand of generic. Per the Detail Page Rules policy, changes to the brand name require a new ASIN to be created. I can see that you were informed of this in the previous case 15213114721 as well.
Per policy:
If you choose to re-brand a product, please refer to Amazon Brand Name Policy page for minor Brand name changes. Any major Brand Name change requests are considered re-branding and will not be supported. To protect Customer trust and ensure catalog quality, we ask that you create a new ASIN for the new product.
Please provide me with the correct case regarding the featured merchant status issue that you are facing so I can look into that for you.
Regards,
Michelle
