Creating variations with GTIN exemption

hello!

im currently struggling with creating listings with variations using GTIN exemption. the built-in product builder doesnt allow to do so, ive found a forum post previously that claimed they managed to do so using file upload, which i have been trying for weeks but, even when precisely following the templates, it still creates separate listings and fails to register the parent SKU. in the processing summary it says that the row with the parent is missing info that only the children would need. if anyone has managed to do this, would you be kind enough to share what exactly you filled out for the parent row? i am starting to go crazy with this, especially after having to wait over 24h each time after deleting the failed listing attempts to wait for the database to update.

thanks in advance

Hey. When creating a Parent SKU/ASIN you do not need to give this any identification such as EAN. In turn the error will most likely be with the Variation Columns or Variation Theme Attributes within the Upload Sheet.

For "Parentage" you need "Parent" for Parent and "Child" for all Children. "Parent SKU" needs to be filled for Children only. "Relationship Type" needs setting to "Variation" for all Children, leave the Parent blank. Finally you need to select a "Variation Theme", this is to be entered in both the Parent and Children, and needs to have the relevant Theme Attributes filled in the relevant Attribute Column

I hope this helps.
