WE RECEIVED AN ORDER ON 21ST FEB UPON CHECKING WE REALISED THIS ADDRESS IS INCORRECT AND MOBILE NUMBER IS ONLY OF 7 DIGITS THESE ARE BASIC INFO WE NEED TO PROCESS AN ORDER UNDER SELF SHIP , SO WE REPORTED THIS ORDER UNDER SUSPICIOUS ORDER TO OUR SURPRISE AMAZON SAID IT MEETS THERE SHIPPING GUIDELINES WE NEED TO SHIP , SO WE RAISED A CASE ON THE SAME DAY ABOUT THIS FAKE ORDER WITH ORDER ID AND SCREENSHOT THEY SAID WE WILL INVESTIGATE AND AFTER 4 DAYS WHEN AMAZON ITSELF CANCELLED THE ORDER THEY CLOSED THE CASE SAYING WE SHOULD HAVE RAISED A CASE BEFORE CANCELLATION OF THE ORDER NOW THEY CANT DO ANYTHING , I MEAN WHAT SORT OF CRAP SERVICE DO THEY GIVE TO SELLERS NO HELP WHATSOEVER , PLEASE CHECK THE SCREENSHOT BE A BETTER JUDGE WHERE IS OUR FAULT. THIS IS HAPPENING A LOT NOWADAYS 1 OR 2 LINES ADDRESS AND IT COMES AS RTO BUT AMAZON NOT DOES ANYTHING WE SEND THAT TYPE OF ORDERS ALSO SHIP THOSE WITH INDIA POST IT DOES'NT CHARGE RTO CHARGES AS OF NOW THIS IS ONLY OPTION AS AMAZON EMPLOYEE ALSO NOT HAS PROPER ABOUT ANYTHING AS WE HAVE FACED MANY ISSUES BUT THE EMPLOYEE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Dear Seller,

Yes, it is right that Amazon Seller Central Support is an outsourced team and they don't have any decision making rights given by Amazon.

This is also right the a seller having SELF SHIP has the right whether an order can be dispatched or not in the best interest of his business.

It is obvious that if you see an incomplete moibile number and suspicious or incomplete address you won't want to send the product as there are high chances of getting it RTO.

Since you have time limitation and you won't get support from Seller Central, you need to do following.

1. Send a message to Customer requesting him to send complete mobile number and complete address. Also mention that lacking these important details we will not be deliver your product smoothly.

2. If a reply is there within your shipping schedule then its ok, if not, ship it, issue refund and stop the shipment at your premise only.

That's it. You can save your hard earned money.

One Important Note: Self Ship seller get 99% orders genuine. For 1% you need to apply your mind but within and adhereing Amazon Policy

totally agrees with you .selling on any marketplace including amazon flipkart is now a days headache. we are currently dealing in furniture category (heavy and bulky items ,self ship ),fraud customers are making a to z claim without any genuine reason due to which in last month we have lost 64 k as there is no safe-t claim in this category and these fraud customers do not return back the product and they are so smart that they even know how this online market works and but i do not think that we can do much legally with such fraud buyers if this things prevails for a longer duration then many sellers like me will definitely think to shut down their business on these marketplaces and will find alternative ways because totally customers favoring policies are there on these platforms and amazon is like "seller jaye loss me muje kya mere pas fraud buyers hai '
