My Amazon Seller Account is Deactivated – Need Help with Reactivation
Hello Amazon Sellers and Support Team,
I recently created an Amazon Seller account and submitted my W-8BEN form as required for tax purposes. However, my account is still deactivated, and I am unsure of the exact reason.
Here is what I have done so far:
Completed the registration process with accurate information.
Submitted the W-8BEN form for tax verification.
Did not receive any request for additional documents like a passport or ID.
Checked my Account Health Dashboard, but there is no clear reason provided for the deactivation.
I would like to know:
1. What is the exact reason for my account deactivation?
2. Do I need to submit any additional documents to complete verification?
3. How can I reactivate my account and start selling?
I appreciate any help or guidance from the community or Amazon Support. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

"1. What is the exact reason for my account deactivation?"
There is a huge difference between not being currently active and actually being 'deactivated".
NOTE -- nearly ALL accounts get suspended immediately after they are opened while Amazon verifies your information so unless they sent you a suspension notice asking for more information it is most likely just temporary.
IF you received an actual suspension notice find the suspension notice and POST THAT (the ENTIRE thing) but remove all personal information first.
Anyone answering will need to see what wording they used and what they are asking for.
