Amazon keeps rejecting idintity information
Hi, my company sells clothing and shoes for children. We’ve been doing this for over 3 years on Amazon.
Since the 7th of december 2020, Amazon froze our listings due to “problems in our identity information”. All of a sudden, a couple of our documents were not correct, and we needed to hand in new documents to be validated. So we did this, but everytime the documents keep getting rejected, because they are “false or invalid”.
We’ve been using the templates by Amazon itself, with singings and everything complete. Amazon keeps asking for new additional information, which is completely irrelevant in my eyes. As I said, we’ve been selling for over 3 years, and just now Amazon needs to know everything about our legal documents, shareholders, founders etc, although we’ve uploaded them a long time ago!
It’s been a month already, our turnover is completely gone. Has anybody experienced something similar before?

Yes, they deactivated our account too requiring the same information.
When did they first ask you to submit the documents? and how long did it take for them to reply?

Don’t hold your breath for a quick response, my ID verification failed (automated system couldn’t read my passport by the looks of it) that was on August 20th 2020. I am still waiting to be responded to, i have opened multiple cases and submitted my appeal, but not gotten a single response regarding this, or when my money will be released. Its a complete joke

What I would suggest is ensure your business trading name matches, names of the directors match for example some documents may show middle names such as passport. etc. The same applies to articles of association if their is one or more directors.
