All Funds Placed in Account Level Reserve for Over 1 Month!

!! EMERGENCY SITUATION !!

For over 1 month now, all our sales revenue has been placed in our Account Level Reserve with zero funds available to withdraw. This has grown to a very large amount. Our last disbursement was on the 27th November 2023. After repeatedly contact Seller Support, we have a number of tickets that have been “Transferred” to “Dummy email body for Ekko (Paragon) contact”, who never respond to us. We have also tried emailing payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk and disbursement-appeals@amazon.com with only one reply which stated the following:

“The Delivery Date +7 (“DD+7”) policy means sales revenue is held for 7 days after delivery and has been the standard worldwide policy for sellers since 2016. This migration will standardise this policy for European sellers to ensure they have sufficient funds to cover any financial obligations, like product returns or customer claims.”

Our Amazon Dashboard Payments page clearly states that the Base Reserve Policy will come into effect in April 2024. The Account Level Reserve relates to funds that may be held to cover Claims and Chargebacks. We completely understand the Amazon policy Account Level Reserve and Base Reserve policies, but it does not explain what is happening.

There are no account warnings or any other issues. Seller Support cannot see anything at all either. We continue to make sales everyday and all funds go automatically into the Account Level Reserve. On the 25th December a Disbursement has been initiated with status “Started”, however, it has not even been scheduled (Scheduled disbursement -> Processing -> Sent to bank -> Acknowledged by bank) and remains stuck going nowhere.

Unbelievably, there isn’t even an Amazon complaints procedure for sellers.

We are a small company and we cannot continue to fund sales on Amazon with no revenue being returned to us. We have been forced to borrow funds in order to pay our staff and other company expenses. We have almost exhausted the loan funds and will have to cease all Amazon sales next week unless Amazon deal with this unbearable situation. Amazon accounts for 70% of our business and revenue so we are facing a disastrous situation, with the potential to cease trading :(

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I honestly don't think that this is something that anyone here (all fellow sellers) can help with or advise. You could try emailing the MD - managingdirector@amazon.co.uk, or next step the small claims court.

Hello,

Have you got your fund?

Ours was held since August 2023. We have submitted all docs required to confirm our status in the UK but Amazon still holds all old funds and new sales.

We have been unable to disburse any funds since March 2023. It is coming to a FULL YEAR soon. The Amazon CS reps over the chat, phone call and emails have been absolutely clueless to say the least. They keep promising someone would get back to us with a solution within 48 hours... no one even follows up and we have to open a new case/ticket with Amazon. It has been absolutely disappointing to sell via Amazon. We have now forwarded the case to the Financial Ombudsman and will escalate it to court soon.

P.S. we are fully verified, bank accounts are updated and verified and account is fully healthy in all marketplaces.
