Regarding the situation where the customer can also initiate an A-Z claim for the amount of VAT while the refund is pending.

Hello, we have doubts about the claim decision for order 407-5577947-6574730. The amount claimed is the VAT EUR7.74 in the order, but we have provided the customer with a refund of EUR36.86 before the customer made the claim, but the refund While the order was being processed, the customer initiated an A-Z claim, and the claim was directly included in the order defect rate. I received an email from the Amazon team. The content of the email was "We have closed 7.74 euros for order 407-5577947-6574730." The A to Z Guarantee claims because you have refunded the customer. You do not need to take any action, but the claim will affect your defective order rate." We do not understand that customers can initiate a claim for the amount of VAT. Claims can also be initiated while refunds are pending. We believe that such claims should not be included in the defect rate. Please help us investigate, thank you (the screenshots in the attachment are screenshots of claims and refunds, but we have no refunds pending. Screenshot of the time being processed, so we are more frustrated) @Ka_Amazon

Did the refund of 36.86 include the VAT?

If a case is opened and then you refund the defect will stand, but if the refund prior to the case being opened and it was for the full amount then surely the defect should not stand.
