Suspicious Seller Support Activity
Hello,
A customer refunded an order, a pair of shoes, on the 17th of August 2023 that they had bought and delivered on the 24th of June 2023.
Therefore, they returned the order after approximately 55 days. FBA Centre deemed the item "Customer damaged" and returned my item to my account as "Unfulfillable Inventory"
I understand the FBA policy, but I made a case nonetheless since it's a pair of shoes, and after 55 days of wear, returning the item is a total loss for me.
Well, my whole case with customer support seemed so dodgy. Details below.
I started the case with the same information I shared in my first paragraph. Thier reply:

Well here they say I could make a removal order and check the items.
The next day I go to make a removal order , the item has suddenly dissapeared from my " unfullfilable inventory". I cannot find the item anywhere else either.
I open a new case under "Troubleshoot Inventory Removal Order Creation Issues" and explained what happpened.
Thier reply:

I'm not sure what that message really meant. I opened the same case again and spoke to seller support. I explained everything again, and they confirmed the item was returned and should be in my "Unfulfillable Inventory". He had to pass it on to the FBA team. Here is their reply:

No1: They confirmed the same and mentioned no reimbursments. Note: I haven't asked for a reimbursment in this case.
No2 : They now say my item has been "disposed off" according to my "unfulfillable settings". (Shocked)
Also note the text below. It seems like they really do not want me to continue with this further and keep the case closed.
Now, I immediatly went to my "unfulfillable settings". And right enough, I do not have any "dispose off" settings. My settings are set to return any unfulfiallbe items on the 1st of every month.
I open the case again , and say Im sorry, these are my settings and how are my items disposed off. Here is thier reply :

The item was a pair of shoes, and how has it become so dangerous that amazon had to dispose it off immediatly without notice
Honestly, very suspicious. Surely FBA warehouse team have not gone back to check my items and deemed them dangerous after its already back in my unfullfilled inventory.
It seems like they are doing everything they can so that I cannot make any reimbursement claims. And they are trying to close the case as fast as possible. Probably as if they have a time limit or something set that they should close cases as fast as possible. I am afraid to open a case again about this. They have disposed of my items, and who knows what they can do?
@Maja_Amazon @Julia_Amzn Sorry to tag you personally, and Sorry the images arent as clear as i thought they would be.

@Maja_Amazon @Julia_Amzn Any thoughts about this case?
On the buy box it clearly says "Item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt"
My item was returned as "customer damaged" after 55 days and has been wrongfully disposed of by seller support as I tried to make a reimbursment claim.
