Inventory Discrepancy
Hi everyone,
We have noticed a big discrepancy between the number of units of each item Amazon say they have compared to the number of units we think they should have.
We always check the number of units sent against the number of units they say they have received. Our system is then sync’d to update automatically when we get customer orders from FBA.
Do you find that the Amazon inventory is generally correct? Do items go missing sometimes or randomly appear?

I find Amazon tend to miss the odd unit on receipt. With items that are in stock they sometimes misplace the item which leads to on hand stock going down.
Items do appear randomly but when I look into it they are generally items that were misplaced previously and they have now been found.

We have check all inbound orders as they are received, we have queried a few but this doesnt explain why there are so many which are incorrect.
I have raised a case so hopefully we will get more than the usual copy & pasted response!
