changing from individual to LTD
I have my account for almost 2 years now but i never used it to sell anything but recently decided to start selling as my registered company. However, when i created my account i opened as an individual and now that i want to change from individual to privately owned business, i have no option to change it.
I spoke to help team many times and each of them gives me a different reason and different instructions to follow but none of them works. One of them told me to upgrade my selling plan from individual to professional selling which i did but it did not give me any extra features to change.

Seller support aren't particularly well trained so don't be surprised that they don't understand the issue. To change from individual to a LTD company is a complete legal entity change so expect full reverification taking weeks and comes under:
Cog>business information>transfer company
Most people come unstuck at this point so it pays to have your ducks in a row in advance. Things you will need include:
Company name and address in seller central exactly matching those listed at companies house.
A charge facility (credit/debit card) registered to the company stored on the account (from a certified bank not money service).
A deposit facility (bank account) registered to the company (again from a certified bank rather than a money service).
Incorporation certificate downloadable from companies house.
VAT certificate if applicable.
ID for all directors/persons with significant control and utilities bills for them as proof of address.
Any other industry specific documentation as required.
