Buy Shipping Labels - delivering to wrong address - A-to-z seller funded refund
I have recently had multiple orders delivered to a completely different address than the shipping label. I used Amazon Buy Shipping in all cases.
The customer submitted one for an A-to-z Guarantee Claim, but the decision comes back as "Seller-funded, but not counted against ODR". I tried to appeal, but it got denied. Completely unfair when using Amazon Buy Shipping.
Can a moderator please investigate? Order # 114-9968842-8501845

Were the orders scanned as "accepted" on or before the ship by date?

i took it to the post office myself that was the number i was given. Your package has insurance on it as well as i paid for it myself. Please contact the post office. Thank you

Unfortunately, I use USPS Ground Shipping (product only $25) so the post office won't do anything.
However, when using Amazon Buy Shipping these orders should be refunded by Amazon. The problem is that sometimes Amazon unfairly denies them or charges the seller even when shipping criteria is met (shipped on time with "Accepted at USPS Regional Facility" shown on tracking).
Recently a lot of recycled tracking numbers have been used which means the order's tracking shows illogical movement. In this case the package shows delivered to a completely different address before the order was even placed which can only happen if a different tracking number was assigned to the shipping label.
I would like help from a moderator because this is unfair & the problem needs to be addressed with the A-to-z team so these refunds aren't assigned to the seller.

Read this:
We identified a USPS system issue that affected some shipping labels purchased on multiple shipping label software programs, including Amazon Buy Shipping and Veeqo. Some labels were incorrectly marked as used or displayed invalid tracking information.
On February 27, 2025, we implemented a fix to help prevent this issue from recurring and will provide refunds for labels that couldn’t be used. USPS has informed us that they’ll still deliver any package that was accepted with duplicate tracking information.
If your orders were affected, we’ll take the following actions to protect your account:
Amazon account health protection: Any affected orders will automatically be protected from impacts to your Amazon account health metrics, including On-time delivery rate, Order defect rate, Valid tracking rate, and Late shipment rate. No action is required of you. We’ve identified impacted orders and will update your account health metrics by March 7, 2025. For issues with other selling channels, we recommend that you contact their respective seller support.
Refunds on labels purchased: We’ll refund your original payment method for the amount you paid for shipping on any impacted USPS label you purchased on Amazon Buy Shipping or Veeqo. You can expect this refund by approximately March 31, 2025, and no action is required of you.
A-to-z claim refunds: Labels purchased on Amazon Buy Shipping and Veeqo already include protection from A-to-z claims related to delivery issues, as long as you shipped on time. If you received an A-to-z claim due to this issue, we’ll automatically fund the buyer reimbursement and the customer-reported claim will not be counted against your order defect rate. No action is required of you.
We're working hard to support you through this inconvenience.

I also had a label misdelivered. The weird thing was it was ordered on March1. The tracking said shipped on February 24 and a gap til March 1 and delivered in the wrong state. I refunded because with the shipping gap I would lose an a to z. But, when I looked at the order date, it was just all not correct. It was shipped same day, but how did the label created that day have a shipped date one week earlier.

Hello @Seller_xnrQOCNby3UdX. Thanks for checking in about that order.
Although it's strange because the order was supposed to ship by Feb 28, 2025, however the tracking shows acceptance by a post office in NY (I'm in NC) on February 21, 2025 which is before the order was even placed on Feb 25, 2025. So it seems like this is a recycled tracking number or something.
