🚨 Amazon Has Held My Funds (+100K ) for Nearly 3 YEARS – Still No Resolution!
Hello fellow sellers,
I’m reaching out to the community because I’m at a loss and hoping someone has dealt with something similar—or that Amazon takes notice.
My seller account was deactivated nearly three years ago due to a policy violation related to product dimension discrepancies. Since then:
I’ve submitted multiple appeals, including a detailed plan of action.
I’ve taken concrete corrective steps, including purchasing certified measuring equipment, retraining staff, and conducting a full SKU audit—even without access to my Seller Central account.
Despite showing full cooperation, Amazon continues to hold my funds, which have now been frozen for almost 36 months.
At this point, I’m not only asking for reinstatement—I’m asking for fairness.
If an account is not being reinstated after a good faith effort and no new violations, it is only right to release the funds that belong to the seller.
I know others in the community have faced similar situations. Have any of you been able to resolve something like this? Did you escalate it outside the platform?
Any advice, contacts, or next steps would be truly appreciated.
Amazon, if you're reading this: Please don’t ignore good-faith sellers. We’re here trying to do the right thing.
Thank you.

after 3 years, it's 2 years and 8 months past the time where I would have filed for arbitration

You don't have to settle a case in arbitration any more. You can go outside and get a good litigator.
It happened to us for 3 months. As soon as I had an attorney on the case they started responding and within 2 weeks my listings were back up.
Also address all inquieries, CC them, to Jeff Besos' team and legal team.
I hope it helps you

i would like to suggest you amazon arbitration

Get a Lawyer! I am scaling back my business and removing everything I can from Amazon. Their "support" SUCKS! I have 3 cases with daily emails, calls, chats with Amazon who was holding my FBA inventory hostage. The items that I desperately needed returned were marked "not available for removal" for the last 2 months. Finally, I decided to mark the items at $0.15 pc and purchase them with my regular account. Interestingly, they are NOW on my way back to me - with the exception of one SKU that I had placed the order and was cancelled.
This item was purchased (immediately) by other people. How, I am unsure. I urgently called Amazon FBA to cancel the order and NO ONE would help! I now obtained a name in Seattle (that I will not share) from my industry association. Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat people like you and me.
Get a LAWYER! This has to stop. No other marketplace is a problem. When I look at the time I have to spend on Amazon BS - I am losing money!

I suggest that you get an attorney with a proven track record of successfully dealing with Amazon.

We have faced a similar issue. Reports were made to Federal Trade Commission and Luxembourg Police. If any of you sellers have faced the same issue - collect all the proofs and evidence if possible and open FTC and Luxembourg police complaints, since we were informed if more reports will be made - the more chances on Amazon will receive sanctions and fees for such scam behavior.
