I want to close down foreign stores

Good morning, I opened this account and want to sell ONLY in the US, Canada and Mexico, but apparently the account mistakenly when registering was set to sell globally.

Now my account turns out to be disabled because the Belgian account requires particular documents, but it is not my intention to sell there, let alone in Europe.

How can I close the other global stores and only stay in the USA, Canada and Mexico?

Thank you

Hello @Seller_7vovhi1WWt7Wa,

Thank you for reaching out. I hope all is well.

"Now my account turns out to be disabled because the Belgian account"

Per our amazon's multiple account policy, you can have one account per seller per region unless you have a legitimate business need for opening a second account. Even when permitted to have multiple selling accounts must remain in good standing at all times. For any reason, if one account does become deactivated then all remaining and linked stores will become deactivated and remain so until the root of the issue is resolved.

"the Belgian account requires particular documents"

I urge you to locate the performance notification received on the Belgium marketplace and submit the required information listed there.

How can I close the other global stores and only stay in the USA, Canada and Mexico?”

If your global accounts are deactivated, you must reinstate the global accounts first before you can reinstate your current account. Make sure to check the performance notification in each market places to see what your next steps are to reinstate the account. Once the global accounts have been reinstated, go back to your current account and submit an appeal stating that your accounts have been reinstated. After both the global accounts and your current account has been reinstated, you can close the global accounts. But you want to make sure that all accounts have been reinstated and in good standing first before closing any account to avoid any delays to get your current account reinstated.

Guidance for seller’s at risk of related accounts deactivation due to regional store inactivity has good information when it comes to global accounts.

Please provide insight and information about your Belgian account. If you have received a performance notification or a case log, attach it to the post and make sure to remove any personal information.

The seller forums community and I are here to help. If you have any questions or concerns moving forward, please reach out in this thread.

Best wishes,

Cade
