Inventory ownership correction and Inventory disposition change
Looking for some mod clarification.
I have had approximately a dozen items in a single FNSKU that were in a 'reserve status' since before February of this year. See case ID 14833919841 for reference. I was told that these units would return to my inventory once they complete verification of item weights, dimensions, etc.
Fast forward to May 31st, over three months later, and all units were written out of my inventory using 'Inventory Ownership correction' and 'Inventory disposition change' per the Inventory Ledger. When I requested reimbursement for these units under case ID 15382367221, I was told that all 36 of these transaction IDs are ineligible for reimbursement under the FBA lost and damaged policies.
I sent these items in, as sellable inventory, and they were available for sale. I don't understand why these are ineligible for reimbursement if they became un-sellable in the Amazon Warehouse. Please advise what I am missing.

Amazon FBA centers seem to be falling apart. Is the person communicating with you in the first message, even stilling working for the company? Doubt if you are communicating with the same people.
One thing we do know is that Amazon FBA employee's do not make mistakes. Making a mistake, especially one that costs the company money, can knock a few weeks off their employment. The final communication is most likely the correct one, and the one that will stand.

Hello @Seller_hCYzonzvGylIo- thanks for sharing this experience here on the forums, I can certainly appreciate the frustration. Thank you for providing these case IDs so I can help monitor this along with you. I do see that our team is currently actively investigating this through the case ending in '7221', which will be where additional updates are sent through.
Once the team responds, please do let me know here in the thread so I can examine escalation opportunities if necessary.
I appreciate your understanding!
