I'M DONE......after this one question
I received an authenticity claim. As we know, Amazon does not require the buyer to prove its in-authenticity, they require the seller to prove its authenticity via an invoice. I do not have an invoice to prove the items authenticity (I used to source from thrift store, yard sale, private connection, etc). Amazon deactivated my account and kept almost $4,000 pending in disbursements.
I understand that if you violate Amazons policy by selling in-authentic items, you could lose your account along with the money pending in your disbursements. That being said, if neither party can prove whether the item is real or fake, would that not make this a 'your word against mine' situation? Logic will tell you that just because a buyer claims the item is fake does not mean they have the knowledge to identify if the item is fake or not. Likewise, just because the seller did not purchase the item from the manufacturer or an authorized distro, does not prove the item to be real or fake.
My question is, how is Amazon legally able to keep a sellers earnings for selling "in-authentic" items that Amazon cannot prove are in-authentic? I see no difference in this situation and a restaurant employee being fired at the end of their shift and being told that because of their termination, they will not be paid for the shift they just worked. There has to be some type of legal protection for Amazon if this has happened to people before and non of them have successfully sued to get their money back.
I am over the loss of my account. I am almost over the loss of my money. But I feel like I will ever get over this until I have an answer.

Amazon considers customers THEIR customers, not yours. They depend on their customers for income, they can replace sellers easily. (if they don't already sell it themself)
Technically, it would be ILLEGAL for them to pay that money to you. They are not keeping it. Most often buyers get refunded for their purchases if you cannot clear it up.
Really it's all in Amazon polices. Look up "sourcing guide" and "invoice requirements". Those policies are there to read. You agreed that you read and accepted them when you signed up.
If you have receipts from thrift stores and sold your products in used condition, you may be able to get your money back after 90 days.
