FBA Service Issues Leading to Damaged & Incorrect Orders – Request for Resolution
I am reaching out regarding issues with ASIN X...X, where the following return reasons have been recorded:
Different from what was ordered – 3 cases
Damaged item by FC – 1 case
Damaged during shipping – 1 case
As an FBA seller, I rely on Amazon’s fulfillment services, for which I pay fees. However, the damages and fulfillment errors leading to these returns are not due to my handling but rather Amazon's service breach.
Upon receiving removal orders from the fulfillment center, I observed that Amazon applies a label directly onto the product packaging without using an outer box or courier bag. This lack of protective packaging is clearly contributing to damage during transit and leading to increased returns and negative customer experience.
Since these issues stem from Amazon’s fulfillment process, I request:
A reimbursement for the damaged units, as the responsibility for packaging and safe transit lies with Amazon once the product is in FBA.
An internal review of the fulfillment and packaging process to ensure that products are appropriately packed before being shipped to customers.
Clarification on how Amazon will prevent such issues in the future, as sellers should not be penalized for damages caused by fulfillment centers.
Please address this matter at the earliest, as these issues directly impact both my business and customer satisfaction.Looking forward to your prompt response.
