Account health rating has been declining

Hey guys,

The store account health rating score has been declining, but we have no violation issues. I have opened a case to inquire about it. The reply I received was that the account is healthy, and a drop in product sales will affect the account health rating. But the sales have been good recently and there has been no decline.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Could you provide a solution?

I appreciate you reaching to inquire on this, I would like to share some guidance and support pages to help better understand the account health rating calculation. As a baseline every store will have an account health rating of 200 points. If you have no policy violations, you will never fall below 200 points. These points are earned when you have completed sales within the 180-day calculation (as of today: 12/24/24 - 6/21/25). You can confirm these dates by clicking into any of policy compliance sections on the account health page. See the example below:

img

Within this date range, we will calculate all completed sales and assign 4 points earned for every 200 completed orders within the date range. If the orders that were completed fall outside this date range, they no longer contribute to the 200 completed orders and may result in losing 4 points from the score. Although these seem random or happen day over day, I encourage you to review your order volume from the past 6 months (180-days) and attempt to calculate it yourself

Follow these steps to manually calculate your rating(Please also note that we will round down any decimals):

  1. (Take the total number of completed orders within date range) ÷ 200
  2. (Take the SUM of the above calculation) x 4
  3. (Take the final total of the above calculation) + 200 (baseline/starting value)
  • Example including 1000 completed orders: (1000 ÷ 200 = 5) (5 x 4 = 20) (20 + 200 = 220)
  • Example including 1500 completed orders: (1500 ÷ 200 = 7) (7 x 4 = 28) (28 + 200 = 228) (rounding down)

You can see more on this by reviewing our account health rating: FAQ help page where we discuss this similar calculation and impacts.

I do hope this helps address your concern with losing points and have no violations to account for the loss. I do encourage you to review your calculation, and if you have any additional concerns please follow up so I can assist as best I can. The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
