New to Amazon Selling

Can anyone offer any advice for someone new? Any pitfalls to watch out for, important aspects of the site that I are essential to look out for? Appreciate any pointers.

As a new seller do not be tempted to buy retail, or from auction sites etc and then list your goods as “new”.
Amazon will likely ask for Invoices and letters of authorization from the brand owners in order to verify the authenticity of your goods and you will face a much harder time of it if you do not have the required documents.
Retail receipts and auction site “invoices” won’t be sufficient and you would face suspension quite quickly…

Spend some time reading these forums as the same issues come up time and time again. It will also give you more realistic expectations of what to expect (or rather not expect) from Amazon support. It will also hopefully let you see how useful the forums are in helping fellow sellers.
