I've no idea if it is possible- but I would always say that ANY link to another account carriers a risk for both of you should amazon identify a link between two accounts.

I would note its highly likely there is something in the Royal Mail terms that a business account can only be used for your business.

I would tend to agree with above reply, and the risk of both your accounts being deactivated is likely to be high if Amazon picks up any link at all. I really would not go down that route, no matter how tempting. Are your rates very much cheaper than he could buy elsewhere ? - even just C&D

Ask your friend to open their own RM account.

You can't really share an account. How would manifesting work. You would each have to produce a manifest and have it collected or dropped off. In RM terms you would have different posting locations which they would need to be aware of.

You would also be responsible for paying your friends postage and any surcharges on their postage.

Your friend is your friend not a business partner. Don't mix the two.

If it goes wrong with either Amazon or Royal Mail you stand to lose your Amazon account, your negotiated rates with Royal Mail and a friend. Really not worth it for anyone to save a few pounds.

I would agree with everything others have said above BUT.... it may be possible.

When you log into OBA you can choose between 'Your account' and 'Customer account'. I've never tried it but it does infer you can create sub-accounts for other people. You will need to contact business services and ask about how to setup and how it works, but I presume you can setup an account for your friend and sort of sell Royal Mail services through it to them. This will enable you to separate the bills between the 2 accounts.

How this will ultimately work with Amazon integration I have no idea and a question to ask business services.

Of course it may not even be possible at all - but if you do find out I would be intrigued to know the answer.

If you really do want to share your rates with your friend then the alternative is not to use Amazon integration but use Click & Drop instead. You would have to share your login with them and they buy labels via C&D. I make no comment if this is advisable as it depends on how well your trust your friend as ultimately they could purchase a load of labels and then not pay you - but you would still be liable to RM. The other thing to consider doing it this way is how will your separate your labels from theirs?

There are many risks and I personally would not take them but only you know your circumstances and the honesty and loyalty of your friend.
