Phantom buyer messages on Seller Central the latest glitch
Had a panic today because Seller Central displayed 4 (FOUR) unanswered Buyer Messages, one each under 24 hours in the US and Canada, and one each in the US and Canada OVER 24 hours (despite zero being registered in the last day.)
Kept clicking, kept searching, kept refreshing, kept seeing 4 unanswered buyer messages that I could not locate nor do anything about. Briefly considered a phone call with Seller "Support" as I would dealing with a normal corporation before coming to my senses and realizing they don't know, they don't care, they have neither tools nor authority to help and can't connect to people who can.
In less than an hour, the 4 1s turned back to 0s on their own, after more refreshing and going about my other daily business. Once again I'm paying a Pro Merchant fee for a glitchy, sloppy website which induces panic because everything that goes wrong, which sooner or later is everything, is always the seller's fault and there is no such thing as real seller support.
Horrible, Amazon. Do better.

It sounds like maybe the data streams got crossed. You're never supposed to cross the streams.
