Trying to change description of my book - keep getting denied

Can someone help me please and translate this support reply into simple English?
Background:
I sell a print on demand book through Amazon/KDP and I sell the same book in a spiralbound version as a seller. The listings are combined via Author Central. I control both of these listings.
I need a few changes in the description that keep getting denied.
As an aside, I was asked to send in the © registration which I have done. I was also asked to take out salesy language (there wasn't really any but I tried to comply) as well as code snippets. All done, but they still denied it. The last response was:
"While we are unable to make updates as you requested, we have sent the changes you requested to the winning contributor for consideration. However, the winning contributor is under no obligation to make these updates. Your change request may be updated only if accepted by the winning contributor and additional follow-up communication is not required by you."
What does this mean and who is this supposed "winning contributor" other than myself? I have not received any communication from them.
