I have all necessary documentation but still cant get ungated
Hi I am a new amazon wholesaler.
I recently opened up a wholesale account with an authorized distributor in the automotive industry. I won't say which brand. I have ordered and received over 100 units. I have invoices to show proof of purchase with my LLC and address matching my seller account.
So far ive tried everything. Ive tried taking pictures of all the units together out of the box. Pictures with the units and invoice together. Pictures up close, and from afar. I even tried sending my bank statement showing proof of purchase that way.
The items that I am trying to get ungated for don't fall under any special safety regulations. They are just regular everyday products. Ive been declined over 20 times. Why does it seem impossible to get ungated when I check all the requirements to sell on amazon?

So, you are trying to sell a brands item(s)? Do you have a LOA from the brand?
"Do you have written authorization or approval from the brand or this company to list and or sell the products from their company? A lot of companies will authorize a supplier, but in their terms of use, you are not authorized to distribute the materials from the site they were sourced from. These suppliers are typically licensed and authorized for sale to the end consumer, no resale. I would suggest reviewing your suppliers terms of use or terms of service and work with the brand itself to obtain a letter of authorization as this will be required at this point to show proof you are an authorized distributor for the concerned brand. So you are additionally aware, if your supplier tries to issue you a letter of authorization, it will not be accepted. They will only accept an LOA if issued by the brand or rights owner only."

Good Afternoon @FromTheValley,
I wanted to stop by as I took a look at the latest cases you have filed with Selling Partner Support regarding your selling application for a particular brand.
There are categories, brands and specific products that require approval so our customers can shop with confidence here on Amazon. It appears since you are not the brand owner, if you have a relationship with the brand, you should have them add you as an authorized 3rd party reseller through Brand Registry (on their end). Once that has occurred you can attempt to list again and if you still have any issues reach out to support letting them know you are now in the brand's Brand Registry approved list.
Please let us know if you require any additional assistance or you may reach out to Selling Partner Support at anytime. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
