Brand Registry- 7th try. Case ID 16019271331
Case ID 16019271331
I received an email that my brand registry was once again rejected. It said
" we could not verify the registered business name and business identifier (e.g. tax ID number or business ID number) provided by you at the time submitting the Brand Registry enrollment form"
I want to provide Government documentation to verify that the number I provided was correct but I don't know how. This is what was written in the email i received:
"Has your application been rejected in error? You may submit an appeal by clicking on this link.(Insert Appeal link)"
No link?? I'm hoping someone can help please.

Now why would that be? Here is what is necessary.
1. Your state retail license
2. Business EIN
3, Your Amazon account in the same mane and address as #1&2 above
4. Your USTPO documentation in the same name and address.
Everything must match.
Businesses outside the USA are not recognised by Amazon unless they have a USA Sales Tax Number and EIN.

Hi @Seller_JyyhzqyiH6omm,
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Brand Registry. I am going to have one of our Brand Registry moderators take a look at this for you. They will follow up with you early next week in this post. In the meantime, I request that you review his post here that may assist you in figuring out what may be wrong.
Regards,
Michelle

Hi @Seller_JyyhzqyiH6omm,
Dougal here and I am sorry to read that you are still having an issue enrolling your brand.
There isn't a link because the application has been rejected with no option to appeal, this means you just need to create a new application.
Ideally, you are providing all the necessary information via the application without the need to provide any additional information to verify the business name and business identifier. The best way to do this is to ensure all the information you are filling out in the "Business information," section of the application matches the TM current owner exactly (All attributes).
Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to review what you are putting in your application, but I can see the appeal case ID and looked up and see your first appeal, you did not attach the business number registration.
You have the ability to create a new application, if that is rejected for the same reason, just provide the business number registration pdf in your first appeal.
A new help page has been created to provide a little more on this part of the application: Brand Registry application business information.
Please let us know how it goes.
Best, Dougal

Hello @Seller_JyyhzqyiH6omm,
I was going back over your case because we have connected on this in the Manage Your Brand Category before and plainly, its been bugging me that I have not found a root cause.
I think I MAY have found something. There is 1 caveat, I am trying to look at your latest application from 9/13 separate from all your other applications. On the most resent application, you applied for the brand name with an Inc. after it, but the TM does not have the Inc.
Currently your newest addition to the case ID (the attachment) is currently in the process to be reviewed so there is a chance my "finding," may not be it at all. I just want to make sure I am providing everything that I see.
Best, Dougal
