Valid tracking reference

Hello, I received an email saying there is an issue with my valid tracking rate. I sell letterbox items designed specifically to be sent with royal mail as regular post so they are sent as large letters and not as tracked mail. I have a really difficult time understanding amazon, does the email mean I have to send everything as tracked mail?

You don’t have to send everything tracked. (99% of my items are untracked standard letters)

What you do have to do is record the items correctly when you mark them as dispatched - which is probably where your mistake was made.

First off - you say large letters, are you using standard 1st/2nd class mail? Or RM24/RM48?

How do you send? - Do you put a stamp on them and put in a postbox? Do you buy your postage at the post office? Do you buy your postage on click and drop?

No you do not, but the all important thing is how you are confirming shipment if not buying your postage from Amazon ‘Buy Shipping’.
If you use Buy Shipping then they will all be validated.
If you confirm shipment manually you need to select the Stamps/Franking option from the dropdown, NOT just the 1st or 2nd Class option - even if that is how you are sending (!)

Hello @Sendsweets,

Thank you for reaching out to the forum’s community.

From the post, we understand that you have concern regarding valid tracking rate.

We recommend you to check all tracking information and validate whether those are valid and take necessary action to get back on track at earliest.

Additionally, kindly draft a plan of action proactively for the same in below format and submit it to selling partner support by raising a case.

– The root cause(s) of the low valid tracking rate

– The actions you have taken to comply with Amazon’s Valid Tracking Rate Policy

– The steps you have taken to prevent violations of Amazon’s Valid Tracking Rate Policy going forward

**How do I maintain a healthy Valid Tracking Rate?

Kindly follow the steps mentioned:

  • Purchase shipping labels through Amazon’s Buy Shipping services

  • Choose carriers that are integrated with Amazon

  • Verify that the carrier name and tracking ID are entered correctly and belong to the same carrier

  • Confirm (and update if necessary) the tracking information before the carrier delivers the package to the customer

For further assistance, you can reach out to the appropriate team through: Help>Contact Us>Selling on Amazon> Other Issues> all other issues
