Refund request - after 34 days

I got my first refund today and they have requested it 34 days after purchase, if i go to a shop after 30 days they’d tell me to get out of town.

Can I refuse to refund them?

No you can’t. This falls into the Christmas Return Policy.

Items purchased between 1st November and 31st December can be returned until 31st January

EDIT: This assumes they return the item, if they don’t you don’t have to refund it

This will fall under the extended Xmas period, even if it was so is it worth arguing over the sake of 4 days.

Most stores I have been to although have a policy stated are not overly strict.

As others have said, items purchased in November and December can be returned up to 31st January.

The normal returns window is 30 days, however this is 30 days from confirmed receipt or estimated delivery date (EDD) - not purchase date.

Making a refund would be good customer service, you can sell the thing again.

I would just accept the return at 34 days regardless. Its not worth the constant argumment and you’d lose an A-Z regardless + negative feedback effects metrics. Amazon are so successful as they are so consumer friendly and allow almost anything, it just irks us a sellers as it us picking up the tab sometimes. Its taken me 3 years just to accept this and move on. My life is less stressful because of it. If you do not get the numbers of sales on Amazon its not worth it anyway. If you do, refund and do not stress about it.

With the way Amazon works, it seems the customer always wins. You can try to appeal to customer service

Ok - I understand the Xmas rule, so let’s ignore any sort of appeal.

However, this is my FIRST refund request and I have no idea how I can say “refund upon receiving item”
