Sent 10 of an item to FBA in one box, They are saying they received ZERO in the box!!
I cant believe we need to even have this discussion but FBA is saying the got the box I shipped and it had ZERO in the box. The box was not open or broken in any way. I have went back and forth with them for about a week now and they are still claiming there was none on the box. UPS verified the box weighed 40lbs!! That must be some heavy air in that box.

Hi @Seller_BnVVYb6FZYIJz,
Thank you for reaching out about this!
Just to confirm, have you requested an investigation via the Contents tab of your shipment? If you haven't done so already, I would highly recommend doing so now. For more information on requesting an investigation, please read through this help page.
Also, if can please send me your shipment IDs and case IDs, I'd be happy to take a further look into those shipments to see how I can assist further!
Thanks again,
Jameson

how can this be happening so much ? Amazon employees must either not know how to count or there is a very major theft issue at warehouses upon receiving seller shipments...

You are not alone with this problem.
Sending goods to FBA warehouses is a lottery in the last year.
Last year I shipped five sample boxes of product (25-35 pieces) and two of them were lost by the warehouse staff and not added to my inventory after they confirmed receipt of the package.
It’s good that it was not an expensive product and I sent it as a test batch.
Since the fall of 2023, I have been using only FBM after such “work”.

I have the same problem this month, I send 300 units Amazon say get only 3.

Just got an email from amazon basically yelling at me for not sending the correct units as mentioned in the shipping plan that its 3 units SHORT and I must get my act together , put in place checks and balances so theat amazon is not inconvienest while recieving my shipments. this was shipped directly from my supplier to amazon in master boxes in the same quantity in each box . just another headache adding up.

Same thing happened to me. I did open a case and here is the response I received from Amazon. No way I am exposing this information to Amazon. I started taking pictures of the quantity in each shipping box to confirm quantity. It probably will not help me with Amazon, but it at least tells me we packed the correct quantity and that we are not making the mistake.

That is a waste of my time to read this....
Kindly be informed that in order for us to proceed with the investigation, we request you to please provide us with the valid invoice or packing slip.
To proceed with my investigation, please provide the proof of purchase or ownership for the inventory that you've asked me to investigate.
Note: The proof of purchase must be the original invoice from the supplier or manufacturer and must include the following information:
No Way I am exposing this to Amazon. We are the brand owner and consider this a trade secret.
- Date of the purchase
- Product names of the missing items
- Quantity bought
- Full name and address of the invoice issuer
- Full name and address of the buyer
The purchase price isn't required and can be concealed.
If you are the manufacturer, send a copy of the signed packing slip. The packing slip must include the following information:
- Packing list date
- Shipment or purchase order ID
- Product names of the missing items
- Quantity shipped
- Manufacturer signature or stamp
Ensure that you provide invoices for all of the units that you've sent in your shipments, from the invoice date to the receipt of the shipment currently under investigation.
We do not accept pro forma invoices or sales or purchase contracts as proof of ownership because they don't demonstrate a completed purchase.
Provide the requested information within four business days so we may continue this investigation. If we do not receive the information within that time frame, the case may be closed.
Thank you for selling with Amazon,

There are 3rd party fulfillment services out there. They are typically a little more expensive but my experience is, They haven't lost anything, not yet. I only ship small footprint items that are low value items anymore to FBA. These typically have been ok. When I shipped higher value items they were frequently lost with no reimbursements.
Use more tools for your success, Amazon's greatest value are their buyers. If you're items are unique or in demand you can sell and fulfill almost any way and you'll be successful, Buyers Buy!

This happened to me a few months ago. I sent in 100 items worth 60 each and they said I sent in 1. I appealed and lost. Ive been sending in the same amount for several years . You would think they would look at my history.
