Regarding the waitlist timing - according to the "Enroll in the dangerous goods program" section at FBA dangerous goods program, Amazon will notify you when a spot becomes available. While there's no specific timeline mentioned, here's what you can do in the meantime:
Your products will need to meet these requirements:
- Be eligible for FBA
- Comply with safety requirements
- Be packed in limited quantities according to regulations
About the forms you asked about - yes, you'll need to provide some documentation. The same help page mentions you'll need to:
- Upload Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or exemption sheets
- Complete this within 14 business days
- Keep in mind that missing documentation could affect shipments or deliveries
Here's something else you might want to know - once you're approved, some dangerous goods may only be eligible for Prime 4-5 day shipping due to ground transport requirements. You can find this detail in the "Enroll in the dangerous goods program" section of the help page I linked above.
