Business entity change from Canada to US

Business entity change from Canada to US

Hello,

For some reason I'm not able to update the business address under business information section from a Canadian business entity to US business entity.

Went under Account Settings -> Account Info -> Business Information -> Legal Entity.

Are you actually registered as a U.S. company and have a U.S. Federal tax ID or EIN? That's just a basic question. But also, If you are moving your business from one country to another then you are no longer the same business. You are a new entity in a new country. I would assume you would have to close out your old company in Canada and set up a new one in the U.S. You can't just switch addresses, it's not that simple. It's all new tax & business documents involved. You need to get a hold of someone at Amazon so you don't do something wrong that will get you kicked off the platform all together.
