Seller Verification to reactivate Account, Documents not being accepted again and again
hello, I did open a case ID for this issue so I'm hoping someone from Amazon will chime in. I got a notice that because of "inactivity" even though I made a sale within the last month or so I had to reactivate my seller account. The only thing being requested was identity verification documents i.e. my passport and a bank statement with my Business address on it. I uploaded a photo of my passport and a PDF of my bank statement. I received an email an hour later saying my submission was rejected:
We cannot verify the document that you provided as a proof of identity because
The scanned copy or photo has a low definition, is not readable, or is out of focus. We accept only scanned copies or photos of the original identity document that have a high definition and are clear and readable. The required information, photo, holograms, watermarks, and background colored patterns must be visible and in focus.
I opened a chat with customer service at Amazon to see if there was some other issue causing the problem, and not the resolution of my documents. A case was opened and escalated to the team that handles reactivation. At the same time through my seller account I messaged that department letting them know that I would re-submit the documents, which I did. After submitting the second upload which I scanned at a higher resolution, and included my passport, my passport card (United States) and again submitted the bank statement, I received yet another email EXACTLY the same as the first stating that the documents were not legible. This is patently untrue. The documents are in hi resolution (600 dpi) which is not even necessary.
I replied to this message through my seller account, and was told to resubmit the documents again through the activation link. I will do this but I think there is another issue that is not being explained. I'm more than willing to comply and provide the documentation Amazon needs to reactivate my account. Can someone please help me?

From what you have shared, I see that due to inactivity you were asked to re-verify your account and you have concerns about getting this resolved successfully.

I have checked in on the case you have shared. At this time your documents have been accepted and the re-verification process has been completed. Can you confirm if this is what you see?
