75% weight difference not noticed by UPS, strange!
I had shipped 8 units of to Amazon via UPS. The shipment was packed in a box measuring 25x10x12 inches and weighed 9 lbs.
Despite confirming with our supplier and 3PL provider that the correct quantity was shipped, we have discovered a significant discrepancy upon delivery to Amazon. The shipment was received with only 2 units, representing a 75% weight difference.
It's puzzling that UPS did not notice such a large discrepancy during the pickup or delivery process. Given the box size and the relatively small number of units (only 2 as per Amazon), the weight difference should have been easily detectable by the UPS.
I have requested Amazon to investigate this matter with UPS as Amazon's partnered carrier and to get feedback on whether they observed any irregularities during the handling of the shipment. Specifically, if they (UPS) had noticed a significant difference between the declared weight and the actual weight.
One thing to note, that we have sent these items with Manufacturer's Barcodes not with FNSKUs like some of our other items.
On my Case ID 15899553841 they are not trying to address the point I am requesting to.
Need a kind support.
Regards,

Good afternoon,
I took a look at the case and can see that Seller Support was focused on investigating for potential reimbursements - is that not also what you were requesting (in addition to the weight discrepancy)?
