Does product have to have sales history to qualify to use coupons?
My handmade soaps have listed for over 6 months without any price change. I hope I can set up coupons to stimulate the sales because none of them have sold yet. I kept getting the error message saying "Insufficient Sales History, ASINs do not have sufficient sales history," so I wonder does a product have to have sales history to eligible for coupons?
I'm talking "coupons" not "deals." I know my products are not eligible for deals. By the way, my account is handmade seller, so it should meet the professional seller account criteria.
Thanks.

you need an established sale price before you can give discounts. This is to prevent sellers from marking up products and then giving a "fake" coupon. That means you must sell a couple at your listed price to give Amazon that data

Hello @Seller_62q4ryBz8wG2S
It is true that ASINs are required to have a sales history before they are eligible to run on a coupon.
Thank you for asking your question in the forums.
