Need Help Regarding Store Deactivation Due to Address Discrepancy
Hello,
I’m seeking help and advice regarding the recent deactivation of my Amazon store due to an address discrepancy. Here’s my situation:
Registered Addresses: My Amazon account is registered with my personal home address, but the credit card I use is linked to my business address. This discrepancy between the two addresses led to the deactivation of my store.
Secondary Credit Card: I also use a secondary credit card that is registered to my brother’s address. This may have caused additional confusion in the system.
Phone Bill: The address shown on my phone bill is in a different format from the one registered with Amazon. This is due to the formatting used by the phone company’s system, but Amazon flagged it as an address discrepancy.
I have provided the necessary documents to Amazon to resolve this issue, but my store remains deactivated. If anyone has experienced a similar situation and found a solution, I would greatly appreciate hearing your experiences and advice.
Thank you in advance.

The different addresses will absolutely cause a major discrepancy, can you advise if this is general identity verification, is this related to INFORM, or were there concerns with not being able to verify your information? I would suggest providing your original deactivation notice so we have more information on exactly what you're facing.
All information should reference the original account owner and their physical address as noted in our seller identity verification and credit card help pages. Thus you will likely need to removal all incorrect information, verify your business address in seller central 100% matches your utility bill, government issued ID, and that your bank and or credit card statement all reference the same provided information.

Hello @Seller_KxZLrLmn7zIDX,
Thank you for following up on the situation.
However, I continue to receive the same automated response from Amazon, stating that my account was deactivated due to “deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activities,” which I believe is due to the mismatched addresses across the different verification steps.
Given the circumstances, I’m trying to understand if this issue is related to a general identity verification problem or if it’s related to Amazon’s INFORM Consumer Protection Act requirements, or whether Amazon had concerns specifically about the verification of my information.
Due to the language you mentioned receiving, I cannot guarantee the eligibility for reactivation at this time. This is a very serious situation, which is commonly associated to the verification of identity and in some situations a supply chain review. The address discrepancy could be the cause of this situation, as you mentioned there are three different entities associated with your business, you and your brother and the business itself. If we have concerns with this discrepancy it can cause this concern with your identity and require full verification. If we still have concerns with how the account was registered or maintained the account will no longer be eligible for reactivation.
If you can remove all aspects from other entities and only represent you and your business along with providing the required documentation to be verified, this may be accepted. If we requested documents to verify your inventory or supply chain, you will need to provide invoices for any and all listings added to your manage inventory. If these products are branded you will be required to provide a letter of authorization issued by the brand as well to very your supply chain.
As noted above if this messaging was received after being rejected, and included "We may not respond to further emails about this issue." we may not respond to any further submissions unless they fully address the concern.
