I have lost sales do to late delivery

I’mI’m fairly new to Amazon and only been taking it seriously for 2 months starting this month I have reached 130 sales recently I noticed my feature offer percentage drop a lot and noticed that my on time delivery rate was at 70%this was previously a issue when it was on 80% because of this I would have to go to the post office 2 times a day insuring that if I couldn’t ship it that day I would first thing in the morning however despite this my featured offer still dropped and before when I averaged 10 sales a dayNow I barely hit 5 if I’m lucky while also having a lot more inventory then ever this has become a problem and was wondering what methods can be used to fix this

Hi @Seller_pQbObslHVlvoV,

Amazon provides the estimated delivery time to customers on the offer listing and checkout pages. This is the estimated time between when the customer places the order until the order delivery date. Configuring an accurate delivery time for your products helps ensure a good customer experience and possible increase in sales:

  • Customers are more likely to buy items that have faster delivery.
  • Items with a faster delivery date are more likely to become a Featured Offer.

At Amazon, total delivery time is calculated as below:

Total Delivery Time = Handling Time + Transit Time + any holidays and weekends + additional buffer (to protect delivery promise in case of carrier delivery issues)

Best,

Dominic
