AMAZON FBA lost an entire package I sent in.... despite showing proof of delivery. Sooo where are my items??

I shipped 2 boxes of items, both going to same facility-- but had to split the items up due to box sizes. FBA claims they only received 1 of 2 the 2 boxes, however UPS shows both being delivered at the exact same time. Of course FBA says they received the box with 4 items, but the box that contained 37 items was 'never received' .. Initially they sent me a reimbursement for $197.19 , and likely thought that would keep me from contacting them anymore.. however that doesnt even cover the costs of the goods they lost , let alone the profit I would have made had they not list my items. They still owe me an additional $397!!! I have provided proof of ownership as requested and even provided them the simple math for each ASIN , with regards to how much they owe me after their fees and even the multiplication if the quantity was more than 1 for a particular ASIN. They claim that the receipt provided was not up to their expectations and would be closing my case. How is that the case, when before I even provided proof of ownership they reimbursed me $197.19. I am confused, because if my items did make it onto the amazon shelves, do they not realize that scanning my barcode will show proof of sale for MY seller account?? Or did they take my products, deem them as 'lost or stranded' inventory, then coverup my barcode with their own , so they would receive the profit of the sale entirely???????? Of course every agent that responds to me copies and pastes the EXACT same message as the prior associate because they do not want to take ownership. So needless to say I have resorted to this so that some @amazon employee that actually has the ability to help me would see this. I need assistance with my case # 16050285751 .. as it has been a nonstop ongoing back and forth for over a month now. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN HELP!!!!!

Hi @Seller_id03kGGBwPO1E,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to try to help. I took a look at the case and I can see yes Amazon did reimburse you for some of the items but we did not have sufficient proof for additional reimbursement.

Proof of inventory ownership needs to be one of the following:

  • a signed packing slip if you are the manufacturer with the shipment or purchase order ID
  • an invoice from a supplier including the full name and address of the invoice issuer and of the purchaser.

A receipt from a retail store will not meet the requirements.
