Capacity limit and low inventory fee in the peak season

My capacity limit for Aug and Sep corresponds roughly to 5 months of sales based on last 30- or 60-day sales figure. But I'm hit with 50% reduction in October. Our IPI is 556.

Our product is not a seasonal product and is relatively new, so we're growing. Considering the expected increase during the 4th quarter, I'm concerned that our listing may be out of stock or at least hit with the low inventory fee. I'll try to send as many as possible by the end of September, but I'm concerned that the inventory level may be too low in November or December. Honestly, I feel it is not right to be hit with the low inventory fee even though I try to send as many as possible up to the full capacity limit.

According to Amazon Mod's post here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/d18f06b4-2a0b-4de6-bc06-514c8146bde5, " On average, the estimated capacity limits for October and November can help provide enough storage for six months of inventory". However, our capacity limit for October is around or less than 50% of the six months of inventory.

Is there anyone having a similar problem? What else can I do to best prepare for the 4th quarter?

I know I can request capacity limit increase, but, you know, it's a bidding system and hard to forecast let alone it's additional cost. I feel like I'm told "If you sell well, you'll be hit with low inventory fee, even if you sent as many units as possible in advance" because the capacity limit for October seems too low.

Soon Amazon will let you pay more fees if you want a bigger limit. In reality just think of it as Amazon does not want you business otherwise they would not have cut you back.
