Incorrect images on listing
I can see that there has been ongoing issues for many sellers regarding this topic and I am the latest one.
I've created a new listing for a product with three variants and uploaded images for each. Two of the variants have the correct images but the third has random images of a product which has no corelation to mine whatsoever.
I have been going back and forth with support for almost a week now to get this sorted, one telling me that my image has been uploaded and will take up to 48hrs to appear so I waited only to contact them again and be told that "the ASIN currently has no image contributions from your selling account. To enquire about images associated with this ASIN, you must make contributions from your selling account by uploading images."
I finally got a hold of someone who seems like a real person who didn't just send a templated response and was ask to upload my image through a bulk image upload link which I did only for them to make the following request:
We have reviewed your request and before we can process your request, we need you to provide one of these valid forms of documentation:
- Manufacturer's or Publisher's (for books) website link clearly showing the suggested changes, along with visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.), if available.
- Manufacturer's catalog (Product User Manual), either scanned image of the physical catalog or PDF version showing the suggested changes, along with visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.), if available.
- High-resolution product pictures, clearly showing the suggested changes, along with a visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.).
- A high-resolution photo of the item in its original packaging showing the product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.) code and the attribute or attributes that you need to change
Although frustrated by yet another hurdle I provided them with an image of the product packaging with the EAN sticker and an image with the product in the same box only to receive another email stating the following:
Thank you for writing to us with additional information. We were unable to verify the proofs you provided in support of the attribute changes you requested. Any modifications to the product’s label to meet marketplace requirements cannot be considered if:
– The modification is a physical sticker placed on the product or product packaging.
– The modification is physically printed on the product or product’s packaging (e.g. the label has been reprinted to include required information).
At this point I'm pulling my hair out because how am I supposed to provide an image of the product packaging with the EAN if a sticker cannot be placed on it or it cannot be printed on the packaging?
If anyone can shed some light on what I can do going forward that would be deeply appreciated as I'm losing hope at this point.
Thanks in advance.

Are you able to provide a link to a distributor (a wholesaler will often do) or the manufacturer website to show the correct image?
Amazon will normally take this as proof and correct the issue.
I really don't see the EAN being placed as a sticker should cause the problem (unless you put it there yourself). I have lots of products where the EAN is just a sticker and Amazon have always accepted this as proof.
If you have placed the EAN sticker on the product yourself this would be correctly disallowed.

After 2 weeks of hitting my head against a wall trying to find someone in support who could help me with this issue, it's finally done!
The kind man who I spoke to suggested that I report a violation as this should have been the first point of call in resolving this.
Reported the violation on the 15/09, got a response the following day saying that they had taken the appropriate action and today, the unwanted images were gone and my image now appears on the listing.
