vat exemption

Greetings to everyone,

I opened my new co.uk account and I would like to consult you about taxation issues before I start selling. How can I request tax exemption so that I can benefit from the 85,000 pound tax exemption? Thank you.

You are going to have to do your own research on this.

Re. VAT - you only need to be VAT registered when your turnover (not profit) reaches £85,000 - you are NOT tax exempt before that !!! - you still need to pay taxes on your business profit, so you must be registered with HMRC as self-employed, and keep accounts and submit an annual tax return, and as your name suggests, a limited company with Companies House. If you are not actually a Ltd co. then you cannot call yourself such.

Before you begin read thoroughly Amazon's Seller University (link under Learn at the bottom of your seller homepage) - there are many policies to adhere to and metrics to meet and comply with.

simple answer, if you are a business you need to ask your accountant , you may say you don't need one, but asking this questions shows you do

an accountant will tell you all about VAT etc. and if hes like my accountant can save you money by declaring "business right offs" you hadn't even considered
