Lost inventory in FBA
Hi Everyone
Do you know how long Amazon takes to complete its investigation into missing inventory in the FBA system?
I successfully started an "investigation" a month ago after they lost one third of my delivered inventory (over 100 items). I have provided them with the necessary proof of ownership.
Since the investigation was marked as started, i have heard nothing despite repeated requests for an update. My emails in the case log go without response.I am wondering if the "investigation" is lost in the system.
Any advice on next steps? Since I paid for the items 5 months ago this is causing me a cashflow headache!

Have you looked at your Inventory Ledger Report for these items?
I've found this useful when Amazon claim that items weren't received. Often they show up in the ILR, and then go missed when being transferred between Fulfilment Centres.

I had lost around 600 units , 7 boxes. after 3-4 months . No idea about investigation . I do hope some one or AI is investigating . Really ?. Wish you good Luck . For small seller , every penny count. Regards
