Deferred transaction at a specific date

Hello,

Amazon introduced the ''deferred transaction report'' at the beginning of October.

At this time, we were not aware of the changes in the payment section.

For our accounting and tax reports, we need to find a report showing the deferred transactions at a SPECIFIC DATE. Meaning, what transactions were diferred at the end of October and at the end of November.

Amazon does not seem to offer a report showing the deferred transactions at a given date, they only have a ''live'' report that shows the current deferred transactions at the date you visit the page.

Any solution to this? We need this information to determine what amount of tax will go to each province for October and November 2024.

Thank you

Sure, sorry for not sharing earlier.

I figured it was a bit difficult to explain by text but let me try :

-There is a report available showing the total sales for the month you want. In this sales report, there is also the total tax collected for all transactions if you need it. I can't remember the name but it is available in the regular reporting section for sales.

-Although deferred transactions are unavailable at a given date, because they are only available ''live'' (today), there is another report that is called ''released transactions''

-You can use the total collected on the ''total sales report'' - ''released transaction'' that are available at any date, and with excel operations you find the ''deferred transactions'' at a given date this way.

If you are searching deferred transactions at a given date for tax purposes, you can note that the total taxes remitted to you by Amazon will be different from the tax amount collected by Amazon for your sales during a specific period. This is due to the differed transactions.

Therefore, you will potentially send more taxes to the governement than you received from Amazon. In your books, the taxes from your differed transactions could go as ''account receivable'' or something along the line, since it is money you paid to the governement but not yet received, and money that Amazon will send you in a few weeks.

Not sure if that helps. If you have other questions, please let me know.
