Inbound Placement Fee Charged after Confirming a Shipment
Has anyone experienced being charged with the inbound placement fee after confirming a shipment, when initially it showed no charge?
I was creating a Send to Amazon shipment for 30 boxes. Before confirming, it showed no fees, everything was $0. But immediately after confirming the shipment, it showed that the inbound placement fee is $715.30. Please see attached screenshots.
I tried reaching out to Seller Support but they don't seem to understand my question. Tried recreating the shipment for the third time, but I still encounter the same issue.
Any answers from the mods as well, please?

Dominic from Amazon here, would like to provide additional details. Yes the placement fee wont be generated until you confirm shipping.
Placing inventory closer to customers in multiple fulfillment centers across the country is critical to delivering products faster and at a lower cost. The FBA inbound placement service fee for standard and large bulky sized products reflects the cost of distributing inventory to fulfillment centers close to customers. The fee is effective as of March 1, 2024.
The FBA inbound placement service fee rate is assessed based on product size tier, shipping weight, and inbound locations. The fee is also based on the tier for the number of locations or number of shipments in your shipping plan.
