Disbursements not adding up to sales and fees

Hi,

I have just completed my first month selling on Amazon however Im a bit confused as to how the payments work. I have made around £900 in sales but only received £280. After Amazon transferred that money to my bank account, I still have 500 as a balance. I have looked at the payment reports but it still doesn’t add up, I am just wondering do Amazon keep 2 weeks balance in hand?

So for example if I sell for the first two weeks of the month, will I receive this money on the following two week disbursement (so at the end of the month)?

Thanks.

You will always have funds in reserve in your account, that’s the way the payments work

To work out your sales vs costs download a date range report - that will have your income and all expenses for whatever date range you choose (obviously not off amazon costs though such as cost of goods and overheads)

Reports - payments - date range reports - generate choose summary and enter your dates
It downloaded as a pdf
