What is required to create a new listing?

I created my listings over 10 years ago when Amazon didn't require upc codes directly from GS1 and they have been hijacked and I need to create new listings because of this.

Other than upc codes directly from GS1 and a trademark and Brand registry, is there anything else I will need to create new listings? I am the manufacturer of the products I sell.

Thank you

A UPC from GS1 is enough, that gives you a rather good protection from hijackers. You buy these codes using EXACTLY the name of your "Legal Entity" in your seller account.

Now, if you want to grow your business and do it really seriously (that depends on your intention, your age, your vision of your future on Amazon), yes, you should trademark your brand with USPTO and enroll in Brand Registry but nobody can force you to do so. You can sell your brand on Amazon also without USPTO and without Brand Registry, especially if you have a website and eventually an online shop.
