Amazon message system to buyers
Many of the messages I send to buyers never seem to get to the buyers. This is becoming a nightmare. On Ebay every single message gets to the buyer as I always get a reply there. Cant Amazon sort this out once and for all.

This has been discussed before, and the problem is that many customers, more often unbeknown to them, are opted out of receiving emails from sellers ! - it seems to be the default setting.
…and yes, it needs to be sorted out.

Got a Negative yesterday because the Buyer said I’d not responded to a INR message he sent.
Not only did I respond within an hour I also refunded as well.
Just got me wondering how many other Buyers are not receiving messages despite hem being sent, minefield comes to mind.
Tried to get Amazon to Remove the Negative as the message I sent to the Buyer is there to be read, but nope not Interested,
This would never have happened on Ebay.

You cant move on as its getting worse. Amazon need to stop mucking around with new things and sort out the basic messageing system. 2 A-Z in 2 days and buyers saying i not replied to them which i did and even on the A-Z claim it shows contact history and that i had sent them to the buyers . Amazon should look into this

Amazon prides itself on being customer centric . However the messaging system is hurting the customer too [ the buyer ] , not just the seller . It prevents the buyer from seeing essential messages to do with their purchase .
I can fully understand giving customers the option of opting out of marketing messages , but to bunch that option together with essential communication is crazy . Good communication is essential in any business and whomever at Amazon is responsible for this debacle should be given umm umm a good talking to .

It would be so much easier if customers had a message system like sellers do, so they check there amazon account fro emails as well as a secondary going to there email address.
the ebay app pings messages from sellers, its mad the system is this bad and so far behind.
