I have signed up to an Amazon Seller account and immediately downgraded to an individual account; however, I have been charged a monthly cost for a Professional account - how do I get my payment reimbursed?

Please open a case with Seller Support using the following link: Contact Seller Support. If you have not used any Professional tools or benefits after signing up - you are eligible for a Professional selling plan refund. You can find more details on the following Help Page: Monthly subscription fee FAQs.

Just to clarify - what you are talking about is not the seller ACCOUNT type (the legal entity), but the selling PLAN. - Professional plan (pay £30 a month) or individual plan (pay extra fee per sale).
The two ACCOUNT types are Business (for selling goods for profit) and Individual (for selling off ones own personal second-hand items).
As Maja says, you need to open a case with seller support and request a refund of the fee.
