Lost Inventory By Amazon followed by unfair reimbursement.

We sent our inventory for FBA and amazon lost it and instead of paying us the value of our inventory they are paying us pennies on the dollar.

REIMBURSEMENT ID: 17810632501

We have provided all the invoices and every possible document and have requested for a supervisor but every agent tells us that we will receive a response within 2 to 3 business days and we get the same response even though we have asked multiple times to escalate this issue.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Hello @Seller_Iwba4PbWwzpuy . Thank you for sharing those details about your recent reimbursement. I recommend reviewing the FBA inventory reimbursement policy page for details about recent updates to this policy.

If you do not agree with the listed valuation of a unit, the best next step is to file a dispute using Contact Us in Seller Central within 60 days after we have issued the reimbursement.

You can view the estimated sourcing cost for inventory on the Manage Your Sourcing Cost page on the Inventory Defect and Reimbursement (IDR) Portal on Seller Central. If you would rather provide your own sourcing cost, you can do so in the portal as well.

The Manage Your Sourcing Cost page allows you to view and manage the sourcing cost of your FBA inventory items or FNSKUs. "Sourcing cost" means your cost to source a product from a manufacturer, wholesaler, reseller, or produce the item if you are the manufacturer. It excludes costs such as shipping, handling, customs duties, or other costs.

To provide your own sourcing costs:

  1. From the inventory drop-down menu in Seller Central, select “Inventory Defect and Reimbursement.”
  2. From the Inventory Defect and Reimbursement portal, click "Manage Your Sourcing Cost" in the top right corner to access the cost management interface.
  3. Locate the specific inventory FNSKU/ASIN listing, select the "Update" button in the Action column to open the side panel on the right side of the screen.
  4. In the side panel, enter your value in the ‘sourcing cost’ field.
  5. When ready, click "Save changes" at the bottom of the panel.
  6. In the status column, you can view the status of your submission. If any action is needed from you, it will be also be listed.
