Linnworks attributes t shirt variation amazon
Since 1st October we have been unable to list tshirt variations via linnworks, We have rebuilt a configurator and added all attributes that we know should be added… the listing gets through to drafts but then hangs, amazon gives no info about whats needed and linnworks are saying some attributes need to be added but doesnt say what? does anyone know what must be added as a list of attributes to linnworks config ? im going in circles at the moment and its quite frustrating …

Without meaning to state the obvious, have you asked the same question of Linnworks? We’ve had similar issues and on one, we had missed something in the configurator that was causing the issue. The helpdesk over at Linnworks helped us to resolve it.

@The_Dragons_Den, I brought this up with Linnworks a couple of days ago as the attributes in the configurator hadn’t been updated to the last new requirements.
Can confirm that today they updated them and it’s working now but check over the amazon inventory loader template to add in any of the new attributes into the configurator for example for t-shirts you know have to add in things like shirt_height_type

Oh forgot to mention, one thing I got stuck on was that with the shirt_size_system attribute it was coming up with default values like as1,as2,as3 etc.
I queried this with linnworks and they sent me a link to this xsd file.

Just do a search ApparelSizeSystem in that file and it will let you know the code appropriate to what the inventory loader file is using instead of country iso code, so if it’s UK sizing then the value you need to choose is as8

Yeah you can see from this link that there is some kind of mess up between what linnworks are providing and what amazon need.

Yup it’s you then as you asked me for an update.
Not sure if my memory is correct but the same thing happened last time Amazon did a major update several years ago and it took weeks of Linnworks saying no not their problem and then all of a sudden one day they said it’s fixed.
I’ve been lucky as I’ve been cutting down our stock of t-shirts listed on Amazon (in fact i’m cutting down listing the majority of our stock on Amazon) so I only noticed the issue when I had to relist something that I found hanging around in our warehouse that we thought we’d sold out of.

Your amazon account attached to Linnwork, you can list manually and your order will be sync properly no issue if you can’t list through Linnowork.

Did you have any luck in fixing this issue? We use our own integration but having similar problems with the data not being accepted by Amazon. In any template I download - ApparelSizeSystem is not a required field. So I am guessing that is what changed and is now required along with other data?

Hi ive not sorted it myself yet, but ive had an update this morning that linnworks are sorting it so i should be a little further with it soon, basically a load of new attributes are needed but its come through all jumbled up, il know more in a few days if you want to check back i may be able to help you out with a list of whats needed, but until linnworks update me im stuck grrrrr … Keep in touch and if i can help i will
