Does an OTC Monograph Drug meet the conditions for sale on Amazon?
I have a product that was flagged as a restricted item. I provided the required information, including the Drug Facts panel, National Drug Code (NDC), and product packaging showing the ingredients and intended use, as requested by the case. However, the case response stated that the National Drug Code (NDC) Directory shows that the product is an OTC monograph drug, but according to Amazon policies, the category does not meet the requirements. They apologized for the inconvenience but said that the ASINs do not meet FDA norms to be sold on Amazon. Is it true that OTC MONOGRAPH DRUGs cannot be sold on Amazon?
