Amazon Lending Loan Settled but still showing as active

Hello,

We settled our current Amazon loan about 3 weeks ago but it is currently still showing as active. We are planning on selling the entire llc including the physical stores and amazon store attached to it however, due to the loan still being marked as active, I am unsure if it is safe to proceed. Please give some feedback @SEAmod

I don't think you can legally sell your amazon account. The buyer will have to start their own new one.

Hi @Seller_g8kayBNkV7CFq

Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.

If the loan is still showing pending, please reach out to seller support directly by creating a support case and they will be able to assist with that.

As for selling your account, generally that is not allowed, here is a some more information from one of our help pages:

Can I transfer my seller account?

Seller accounts generally are not transferable. Seller accounts provide access to the tools and resources that sellers use to list their products and manage their orders. Seller accounts also include account activity history and buyer feedback. Every seller on Amazon must have a seller account and an agreement with Amazon that establishes the terms under which the seller lists and sells their products.

If the ownership of a business changes for any reason, the new owner must establish a new seller account.

If the ownership of a business is not changed, but the individuals responsible for managing the seller account have changed, you can add users to the account. For more information, see Set User Permissions.

I hope this helps,

Connor
