Assistance Needed: Brand Approval and ASIN Creation Limit Issues
Subject: Assistance Needed: Brand Approval and ASIN Creation Limit Issues
Hello Fellow Sellers,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m reaching out to seek some advice and clarity on two issues I’ve encountered while uploading new items to my Amazon store:
1. Brand Approval Issue:
When trying to list items under my brand, Emirates Streetwear, I received a message stating:
“The brand name you have entered has not been approved by Amazon.”
However, my brand has been officially approved since August 11, 2022. I’m not sure why this issue is suddenly occurring.
2. Weekly ASIN Creation Limit:
I’ve also run into a notice stating that I’ve reached my weekly limit for creating new ASINs. The message suggests:
Waiting until 0:00 GMT on Sunday for the limit to reset.
Listing new offers against existing Amazon ASINs.
Reviewing the ASIN Creation Policy to learn how to increase limits.
I’ve been an Amazon MBA seller for over 3 years and have never faced upload limits before. This new restriction has come as a surprise, and I’m unsure if I’ve missed any recent updates or changes to the policies.
Has anyone else encountered similar issues or found effective solutions for these problems? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Best regards,
Michael Rohr

Hello Michael Rohr,
Thank you for your post. Brand name fields are case sensitive so make sure of that. If you still encounter issues reach out to Sellers Support.
In regards to ASIN limits, To protect the onsite shopping experience for customers, Amazon limits the number of listings (new ASINs) that you can create in a given week until you establish a sales history with Amazon. As you increase your sales, your capacity will increase. You can find more information on ASIN creation policy help page.
Regards,
Adam
